Someone near you wants their pet back.

Bounty Go is a live map of lost pets and missing things near you. Most pins carry a cash reward from the owner, and it goes to whoever brings them home. You already walk past them.

Cash, paid to you in person. We take none of it.

How it works

  1. Open the map

Lost pets and lost things near you show up as pins. Each pin says what it is and what the owner will pay to get it back.

  2. Keep half an eye out

A search zone is 300 m to 2.5 km in radius, which is roughly the size of a normal walk. Spotted something? Reporting a sighting takes a few seconds.

  3. Hand it back

You arrange the handover in the app with a one time code, so both sides know they're talking to the right person. Then the owner pays you the reward in person.

About the money

The reward on a listing is an offer from the owner, not a payment we process. When you return something, the owner pays you directly, however the two of you agree. Cash works. So does a bank transfer.

Bounty Go never takes a percentage and never holds the money. That cuts both ways: because we never touch the reward, we can't guarantee it either. We remove suspicious listings and ban people who post rewards they don't intend to pay, but the deal itself belongs to the two of you.

What keeps the lights on: owners pay a monthly subscription that keeps their listings on the map, and can pay to boost one. That's the whole business.

Every pet back home. Every lost thing returned. Because of you, someone's worst week turns into the best knock on the door they ever got, and the reward is the thank you.

Nobody patrols a neighbourhood. You walk to the shop, take the long way home, and the map keeps up while you move. The only money in Bounty Go is the reward on a listing, and that goes to whoever brings the dog home.

Search zones run 300 m to 2.5 km, so a listing covers the ground you already walk.

Come and try it (:

Bounty Go is in beta and we'd love more people in it. Two things we need, two things we're curious about, and that is the whole form.

Which phone?

Your address is only ever used to send you the invite. Nothing else, and never to anyone else.

Meeting strangers, carefully

Contact details stay private.

You talk through the app until you both decide otherwise.

Handovers use one time codes.

Both sides confirm the same code in person, so nobody hands a dog to the wrong stranger.

The app tells you to meet in public.

A café, a shop, outside a station. It says so before every handover, and it never asks for bank details.

Report and block are one tap away.

Report a listing, a message, or the person you are dealing with, and block them from a claim or its chat. A human reviews every report.

Bounty Go is not an emergency service. If a pet or a person is in immediate danger, call the people whose job that is.

Questions worth asking

Does Bounty Go pay me?

No. The owner pays you directly when you return what they lost. We never handle the reward, which is also why we never take a cut of it.

How much are the rewards?

Whatever the owner decides to offer. The amount is on the pin before you spend a single minute looking, so you can judge for yourself whether the walk is worth it. We don't publish averages because we would be guessing.

Is it free?

Finding is free: installing, browsing the map, reporting sightings, collecting rewards. Owners pay a monthly subscription that keeps up to two listings on the map, and boosting one costs extra.

What if I'm the one who lost something?

Post a listing with photos and the area it went missing, and offer whatever reward you're comfortable paying in person. Your neighbourhood does the rest, with mixed results we won't pretend to predict.

Do I have to share my location all the time?

No. The app uses your position only while it is open and you are looking at the map, and other people never see it. Nothing tracks you in the background. Listing locations are blurred for everyone except the owner.

Free to install, free to look. The map is only as good as the people on it, so bring a neighbour.

There is a Discord too

It is where this gets built in the open: what is shipping, what broke this week, and which town the map should cover next. Come and tell us what is missing.
